Carla: Geoff is stubborn

The wifey role that Carla Abellana plays in GMA's Dramarama sa Hapon entitled “Kung Aagawin Mo ang Langit” is entirely different from the wife character she acted out in her current movie. “My Neighbor's Wife.”

She informs us: "Sobra pong naiiba dahil it is not a love triangle story. Naka-sentro sa bata ang story at sa dalawang babaeng umaangkin sa kanya. I am a wife here na hindi magka-anak. Sa tutoo lang ay punong-puno ito ng drama at nahirapan ako nang husto sa eksenang  kinakailangan kong umiyak na hindi man lamang tumutulo ang luha. I took it as a very big challenge na nagawa ko din po.”

Fast forward to her personal affair with boyfriend Geoff Eigenmann. Married twice on the screen, when will wedding bells ring for real?

“Honestly, hindi po namin ito napag-uusapan. Both of us are career-oriented and we still have to achieve our separate dreams. I am happy na patapos na ako sa pagbabayad sa binili kong bahay. Next thing I want to acquire is a brand new car. But we do talk about babies dahil pareho kaming mahilig sa bata.”

What is Geoff's most endearing trait?

“Isa siyang tutoong tao. At hindi po siya seloso. On the minus side, he can be very stubborn.”

Has Geoff given you reason to cry?

“Yes. There has been instances that he made me cry pero not for a major cause. Mga petty things   like kung may gusto akong ipagawa sa kanya and it takes him a long time to do it."

Kung Aagawin Mo ang Langit has a very intimate subject matter which couples today can easily relate to. It ought to be a  toprater in GMA's afternoon block.
