Child labor law affects Jillian

There is always a child sensation in our midst. Right now, the title belongs to Jillian Ward who works for the first time with Ogie Alcasid in the new GMA series, “Daldalita.”

We asked director Don Michael Perez on his working relationship with Jillian.

“Daldalita is my third project with Jillian and she is a complete joy to work with. Hindi sinusumpong at fast learner.Lagi siyang on cue. Amazingly, she works like a real pro. Also she strictly observes rules governing child labor. May cut off time si Jillian. Ang nakakatuwa sa kanya, isang paliwanagan lang ay kuha na niya kung paano iaarte ang eksena. She really loves to act at enjoy siya sa kanyang ginagawa. Sa tutoo lang, the big challenge for me is the fusion of live animals and the fake ones or done by computer. They are not just animals. They are talking animals,”he explained.

Daldalita is the newest family-oriented drama in the tradition of “Futbolilits” that would inspire and entertain televiewers, young and old alike.

Don Michael Perez started from the ranks. Lately, he has been associated with projects geared for children. He hopes to direct a mainstream movie and enjoy the status reached by Jun Lana. The latter megged “My Neighbor's Wife” which did well at the box-office.

A project in mind is a musical and he is saving money in order to produce it.
